My daughter (age 20) and I went on a 3-night Bahamas cruise on the Norwegian Sun in October. It was our second cruise with NCL in 2011. We had been on the Norwegian Sky in May, sailing out of Miami for a 4-night cruise. We had such a great time on the Sky that we booked the cruise on the Sun the day that we disembarked last May! We loved both cruises. The primary difference between the two ships was found in the cabin furnishings on the Sun. They provided a great deal more storage and more comfortable beds and pillows.

On the Sun, we ate in the main dining rooms a few times (one breakfast, two lunches, one dinner), and the food was very good and the service was excellent. We also ate outdoors on the deck at the Great Outdoors Cafe for lunch and snacks. The Ginza Sushi restaurant and Il Adagio (Italian) were greatly enjoyed for wonderful dinners. The sushi was plentiful and so fresh, and the food and service at Il Adagio were great.

We love the freestyle concept at NCL. Embarkation and disembarkation are always a breeze. The staff is helpful, friendly, and efficient. Being able to eat whenever and wherever we feel like it really makes a cruise relaxing. We have already booked our next NCL cruise to the Baltic Sea in May 2012! We love NCL!
