I had to write a review of our cruise to Egypt and the Holyland which left Marmaris on 10/10/11. This was our first cruise holiday and it was for our tenth anniversary. We had an awful flight to Dalaman, due to adverse weather conditions, but when we got to our cabin (657) we were pleasantly surprised to find it was spacious with lots of wardrobe space and drawers and everything was clean and tidy. We found all the staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough for us, nothing was too much trouble. The food is available in the self service buffet 24hrs a day.I am a fussy eater, but found the selection was always good. The restaurants are always clean and tidy. The tea and coffee is free at all times which is something that I hadn't realised before we travelled, I thought that this was a brilliant idea.

During the cruise, we decided to enjoy a meal in Mistrals A La Carte restaurant which was lovely, the staff had been told that it was our Anniversary and during the meal, they came and serenaded us which was totally unexpected and it was a lovely surprise, in which all the waiters joined in. We found the ship very comfortable and even though we were on deck 2, we were not kept awake by the engine noise.

We went on a trip to the Pyramids which is a must, you have to see them with your own eyes to belive them!! We also went on the trip to Jerusalem and Bethlehem which was a very hectic day, but worth it. We loved our cruise and would go on the Celebration again, definitely.

Cabin Review

657 - Two big wardrobes, lots of drawers. Handy for leaving the ship as its two doors away from gangway. Bathroom is clean and functional.
