Marella Celebration Cruise Review by Terry&Louise
- Sail Date: October 2011
- Destination: Eastern Mediterranean
During the cruise, we decided to enjoy a meal in Mistrals A La Carte restaurant which was lovely, the staff had been told that it was our Anniversary and during the meal, they came and serenaded us which was totally unexpected and it was a lovely surprise, in which all the waiters joined in. We found the ship very comfortable and even though we were on deck 2, we were not kept awake by the engine noise.
We went on a trip to the Pyramids which is a must, you have to see them with your own eyes to belive them!! We also went on the trip to Jerusalem and Bethlehem which was a very hectic day, but worth it. We loved our cruise and would go on the Celebration again, definitely.
Port & Shore Excursion Reviews
AlexandriaWe thought it would be nice to have a walk into the town after two busy days on excursions, so we walked out of the port, but we were not really prepared for the barage of taxi drivers and horse and carriage owners who wanted to take us on a sight seeing tour of Alexandria. We just wanted to have a walk around, but they would not take no for an answer, it was awful, the one man even followed us with his horse still trying to pursuade us to go for a tour. In the end we went back to the boat, it was not a pleasant experience at all.View All 120 Alexandria Cruise Port Reviews
