Check in for the cruise was VERY VERY slow and painful. The check in staff told us they were having problems with wireless access and apologies were given profusely. Most were patient but very hard to wait for hours in line with kids. We were also in a priority line.. At 2pm there was still very long lines behind us and the seating area completely full.
Once on we were escorted to our suite by a Butler Gary, we started to explore. VERY disappointed in the small pool but that was really our only complaint.
We were hesitant to cruise with Norwegian because it seems people either love them or hate them. In my opinion, I see no reason to hate them. Food in Market Buffet was not spectacular but if you are expecting any buffet to be... you aren't going to find it. It was certainly good and a wide variety of food to choose from.
Cagney's for breakfast and lunch was GREAT!!!!
Aqua with service from Leo was fantastic.. can't say the food was always great but Leo spoiled us. The food wasn't bad per se but average.
The downfall was hurricane Rina really spoiled our trip. Our Cozumel stop was canceled. We stopped in Roatan but it was pouring rain and windy and tour canceled. Belize was delayed and tours canceled due to poor conditions when we did arrive. Costa Maya was our only good stop and they cut that short bu 2.5 hrs. Had the ship not been so wonderful, we'd say the cruise was terrible. Instead we were still able to have a good time on board and would cruise with them again.
We were in 12506 and have zero complaints.
Not much to share.. it was pouring rain and many tours were canceled. Most people got off and tried to shop a bit but winds and rain drove us back onto boat.
Absolutely 100% not impressed. We did the cave tour since the snorkeling tour was canceled and we ended up riding 1 hr in a van that smelled horrible. The roads were terrible and the country very unappealing to look at. The actual cave tubing was about 20 minutes and then we got another 1 hr ride back.. all for $250. Would not even think about doing it again.. even if it were free.
Paid $30 for a 1 hr snorkel trip. Boat very rickety and operators on the rude side but the water was WONDERFUL and it was decent snorkeling. We stopped after Rina so I'm sure water wasn't in best condition for snorkeling. The beach was wonderful. We could have stayed there all week.View All 64 ATV Adventure Reviews
