FIRE THE C.E.O., KEVIN SHEEHAN
I wish we had looked at CruiseCritic.com before we took the NCL Jewel. If we had, we would have not gone. The buck has to stop somewhere. Fire Kevin Sheehan.
When he was on Undercover Boss, he professed to investigate NCL problems so he could provide his passengers with an unforgettable cruise. It was unforgettable to be sure. It was awful. Seeing this show repeated daily on the ship TV made me sick.
Our cabin was a mini suite with balcony- what a joke. You had to turn sideways to get past the bed to balcony from bathroom. Furniture was marginal. Bed was hard, and the pillows were very hard. Seemed like those cheap pillows that you find in the stores for $ 5. There was no bar soap in bathroom ; nor lotion either. Stewart never bathed and stunk. He was friendly, but had bad body odor. Some other floors had this bad smell also. Some crew I spoke with said there was the same problem in part of the crews quarters. One day, steward seemed slightly annoyed we were not out of our cabin in the morning. Never offered us any food service. Did a good job cleaning. Had to fight in the beginning for more towels.
