We were on this ship september 10 to the 17th 2011, and had a great time. This was my first cruise ever, my wife was on one as a child. We were very nervous being my first time and our biggest vacation we have ever booked.

The Carnival crusie line did an excellent jobf moving things along and embarking on our journey. We went out of Miami and check in and boarding went smooth. The ship itself was very nice and clean, even with almost 3000 people on board we never really felt cramped or crowded. The only time that was is when we first boarded and everyone went to the lido deck because rooms weren't ready yet.

The staff throughout the ship was helpful and friendly. Our stewart, can't remember his name but he did the riviera deck during this trip. He was great, always smiling, referred to us by name always followed through on requests. The entertainment and activities were good, though the schedule was so packed everyday it was difficult to keep track of what is going on where, we often missed things. We found it better to carry the flyer with us and go with the flow, if we came upon something good we went to it, if not oh well. Read more
