Getting on board was a real thrill. No unnecessary delays or lines that I had previously experienced with other cruise lines. The published time was 2 pm, but we checked out of our hotel in San Juan and got right aboard around noon. Our cabin was available at that time and our luggage arrived within the hour.

We had the standard arrival lunch in the Windjammer (buffet) and it was a step above my experience on Carnival's Conquest.

I am not a big advocate of the buffet style of dining, but I did experience breakfast ther on one occasion and must say it was good enough that I would consider it again on a future cruise. I did enjoy breakfast in the Reflections dining room because of the nice people I met. I would highly recommend that aspect of your cruise.

Cabin Review

Quiet and good view from the balcony. About as far away from dining as you could get, but near the theater.
