Cruises have to be the best vacations on earth. All the things to do, eat and see! All the surroundings you can never get bored on the giant "Voyager Class Ships." The crew makes you feel like you're right at home!

Day 1 -- Port Canaveral, Florida (A.K.A Hurricane Land!) Embarkation Day -- When we arrived at the port after our crazy bus ride with Jay Lowe, we were taken into a building with two floors. Onboard the bus ride, you are asked if you filled out all the forms necessary. If you don't have them all they have a lifetime supply inside. When we entered the building we had to go through security. Then we were taken upstairs. We then had to wait on a line for only five minutes to get our key cards and hand in the papers we filled out. We were finally allowed onboard the ship. Since this was my family's second cruise we knew what to expect out of our rooms. The bathrooms were the size of a cabinet and the sleeping area small but suitable. We then had to do the muster drill on deck four at 5:15. We were standing next to the lifeboats for about 15 minutes. Then the captain made a little speech and then dismissed us. Then we had a few hours in between since we had the late seating at dinner. The show that night was the welcome aboard show. We were greeted by the cruise director, Kirk Detweiler, singing "Come Sail Away With Me." They also had a comedian, Carl Strong, who was very funny, next Duo Claudio who were acrobatic performers. Then at 11:30 we went to the Island A Gogo parade which was fun. Then we walked around a bit and headed back to the room for sleep.

Day 2 -- Nassau, Bahamas -- Early wake up today. It was off to Rainbow Reef snorkeling for us! The fish were very pretty and I recommend it to any age group! We arrived back at the dock at 3:30 and met my husband. We then headed to the Atlantis hotel which was beautiful. We were only allowed in the lobby but it still looked very nice. We left Nassau at 5:30. Tonight's show was the Platters. They only had one original Platter but they performed very well.
