just got off the Marnier of the Seas, sailed Oct 1- 14. We booked thru Air Transat Holidays flying out of Toronto Oct 1 2011, Stayed at Residence Candia for one night, 3 star near the Vatican, (spotless very helpfull staff)then transfered to ship Oct 3 2011. We had a balcony cat D3, really large cabin, had a couch instead of a loveseat. This ship is my favourite of the Voyager class, just loved it. Found it easy to get around, food was ok to really good. The sugar less desserts were excellent! I never went hungry!!! Found always something to eat. Ecellent choicesin the Windjammer buffet. My husband said he had the best lamb there.

The entertainment some nights was lousy (folkloric show when we were in Istanbul really bad) but I knew the Med cruises can be that way. Enjoyed the cruise director, Kieran Buffery, very funny and he can sing!! One night he and the Scnooner bar guy, Darren and the guy from the pub got together and it was a rocking night at the Schooner bar. The skating show as always is not to be missed. Just outstanding!!

Took some tours thru RCL, In Messina, we took the transfer to Taromina, such a beautiful town about 1 hour out of Messina, just stunning, the views were georgeous!! a must see.
