I am almost 60 and have been on at least a dozen cruses I am an Italian trained Chef and a Certified Sommelier. I have been in the food service industry for about 50 years. During this trip review I will be as objective as my training and life experiences will allow.
I booked this cruise a month ahead. I had never cruised Carnival before but the price and the timing was good. I had looked at Carnival many years ago but dismissed them because I felt they were too much of a drunken party boat catering to only the 20 something crowd. I imagined a cocktail server bugging you every 3 minutes and dinner consisting of chicken wings.
