we got a last minute cruise and paid for an inside cabin on the lowest deck because we have had some big bills this year ,but we were given an outside cabin, and it was lovely.people said we would not sleep at night for the noise , but we heard hardly any , and the very low ""hum"" put us to sleep no problem. food was absolutely magnificent,as were the dining room staff ,the ship is beautifully laid out , and i found getting to different activities very easy..we got plenty of time ashore and even when we were put behind schedule due to having to go back into port due to illness, the captain made up the time and we arrived at our next port of call in good time. of the places we visited . ,toulon stands out as a really super place.with a fantastic supermarket and department store next to the footy ground , which is right next to the berth in the centre of the water front.,and swimmimg is a little town train ride for about five minutes. they go all day round the town ""hop on -hop off"". olsens ships may be smaller , but we met people every day ,from the day before , so most people knew each other by the end of the cruise . it was a great holiday .thanks fred. ..brian little
we were on the bottom deck but had no problems getting around plus there are lifts if you need them. our cabin at first seemed "tight". but with a bit of furniture removing , it became perfect for us, well cleaned every day, and we had a superb shower , i wish ours at home was as good!! . plenty of wardrobe space , and if you ask the cabin stewardess, she will store your suitcases for you untill the end of the cruise. for the price we paid we could not have had a better holiday without paying almost double . the value for money on fred olsens is top class. once again , thanks fred
