My wife and I just returned from a 4 day Bahama cruise aboard the Carnival ship Fascination. We are experienced cruisers and our expectations weren't high for this older ship, going to ports we have visited numerous times.

We were pleasantly surprised as we found the Fascination to be in excellent shape with a solid management team and crew.

The Food - It's not the quality and variety of year's past, but all in all, we had a good experience in the dining room. Claudio, the maitre d and staff made dinner time enjoyable. The weakest area seemed to be the lido buffet - especially breakfast. There is no good reason for sub-par pancakes and waffles. Read more
