Our cruise was Sept. 9th, the last of the 7 night cruises for the season. We spent Thurs. night with my brother and took the Bainbridge Island ferry over to Seattle and it took us right along side our ship. That really helped to ratchet up the excitement. With Concierge class we got our own check-in line and there was no one ahead of us. From the time we got our luggage out of my brother's car, we were in our stateroom in less than 30 minutes.
We had opted for the Premier Beverage package and it didn't take us long to figure out the value of that choice. Like a lot of the other passengers we enjoyed the good weather and had our first onboard meal outdoors.
While I have been on a few other cruises in the past, this was my wife's first cruise aside from a 3 day trip down to Ensenada. She was really pleased with the size of our room and bathroom. There was enough room underneath the bed to store our suitcases so that we didn't have to step around them otherwise. Since we were next to a suite, our veranda was a bit smaller than typical but still was comfortable.
8102 is in a great location at the center of the ship. The only negative is that the veranda is a bit smaller due to the suite being next door.
