Firstly we had 2 great days in Seattle staying at the Red Lion Hotel on 5th Ave. Good hotel and great location. Pike Market is a must see. Our travel agent, Jetline, didn't offer transfers so for the first time we had to do everything ourselves. As we landed at Seattle airport at tea time we opted to take the Lite Link Train to the hotel. Very easy to do with a less then 5 min

walk to the hotel from the station and at only $2.75each. A good way to see Seattle having been on an aircraft for 12 hours. We took a taxis to the port which cost $20 included a $7 tip. Being from the UK we are not used to tipping. Embarkation was good, as we were in the cheap seats we had to find our own cabin but having done 15 cruises previously it wasn't a problem for

us. Our cases turned up promptly. The cabin was good and spacious for an inside, Dennis, our cabin steward, was on hand to introduce himself and was anxious to please us and settle us in.

Cabin Review

My wife doesn't travel well on boats, I know we have done 15 but we got a tip from a first officer on Royal Caribbean. Go mid ship and low down there is less movement. So its about location rather than we must have a balcony or mini suite. Inside cabins tend to be slightly bigger then outside cabins without balconies. We find your not in the cabin much anyway so inside is there to change or sleep so it doesn't bother us. We have had balconies but then I find my wife doesn't want to be sociable and tends to stay in the cabin. C522 deck 10 was not a noisy cabin and not much movement when we were

out at sea. 4 decks to top deck for food or swimming and 3 decks down piano bar

and lounges so good location.
