Just returned from our cruise with friends. From the Promenade deck which was fantastic with its array of shops and bars to Chinese parade and musical entertainment. The Casino was enormous, a pity that fees for poker tables were so high that nobody would play. Slots too were left unplayed. Smoking was allowed in here too which was sickening for non smokers. Maybe this also had an inpact of very low attendances. Theatre shows were very good but could be brought up to date.

The rest of the facilities were great and we enjoyed them very much, a lot to do for all ages.

The dining restaurant was great with superb food beautifully presented. The waiting staff were great and very efficient and happy.

Food in the Windjammer could have been great too if it weren't for the fact that all hot food was cold and even after complaining to head waiter this was not addressed. Very disappointing.

Our Superior balcony cabin on deck 10 was OK. Could do with a refit but always kept very clean. First time with a balcony and was disappointed that the balcony floor was wet with stagnant water in gutter. Fridge didn't work but was replaced immediately.

Overall a very nice holiday and would have been better if it hadn't been for the extremely large number of Spaniards on board who went around in large groups, were ignorant and very noisy. Won't sail out of Malaga again. Reckon with the amount of children they had with them they must have got their holiday for free. But I guess one has to take the rough with the smooth but with approx 90% of Spanish n board we had to take more rough than smooth.

Bring it on again!!!!!!

Cabin Review

Superior Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony
Cabin D1 1230
Great view. Small bathroom. Very quiet hallway even though next to crew space. Only tiny table of soap supplied with inferior shampoo. Balcony had flooded gutter and wet floor. Otherwise very clean if furnishings really tired.
