4 nights in Bermuda on a cruise ship---better than 4 nights in a pricey resort IMO. Bermuda meant for a relaxing getaway, not the the action type vacation in Caribbean Islands. We dodged the hurricane and got lucky with the weather, though strong winds. Went to Horseshoe Bay, which is beautiful, but could only go in the water at a spectacular cove b/c powerful surf. Highlight was the golf outing at Port Royal golf course where they are hosting the world series of golf in October. Magnificent course with ocean overlooks on many holes.

Having a few more days Went from one side of the island to the other--Dockyards to St Georges and strolled around. Very pretty. The Island is well taken care of. Don't expect to find shopping bargains in Bermuda.

The entertainment at the shows was some of the best at Sea. Veendam had a remarkable tenor--Mark Donato, and a very good soprano, Michelle..plus 3 other singers, two dancers and an extremely good orchestra. Other venues were a classical quartet, a guitar player, and a piano man...all very good.
