We cruised on the Triumph to the Western Carribean (5 days out of NOLA with stops in Progresso and Cozumel). Our family consists of two mid-forties parents and two boys ages 12 and 15. We had a GREAT time, and we lucked out on the weather too. This was our 1st Carnival cruise, and the kids' first cruise. We were impressed by Carnival (same or better than our RC cruises). We were a bit concerned by other reviewers reports about a pervasive "party" atmosphere, leaving out of NOLA and all, but we didn't experience much public drunkenness or inappropriate behavior. We mostly were in our rooms by 11:30 pm, and we didn't go to the bars or discos at night.

Likes - (in no particular order...)

1. Abracadabra close-in magic (near wine bar around 11:15pm)
