We,my wife and I were a little apprehensive on this cruise,as we although we have seen images of the places we were about to see and some bad reports of the T.S.we had viewed on some forums.But not at all!The ship was better than our expectations,with the cabin-340-on main deck was the most pleasantly surprised with.The size was bigger than led to believe,and there was plenty of space and drawers for a two week cruise,and be able to put one's cases under the beds.The toilet and shower were more than adequate and spacious,especially for a big fellow like me.The shower area was much bigger and not as closed in as in the Island Escape and MSC Lirica.

We were disappointed with the Captain's cocktail night on the first week as we had to be herded into the Raffle's Bar area and subjected to not one but seasons of photo-shoots before going into the Broadway theatre for cocktails.The Captain's introductions to his senior staff was rather low level as compared to the I.E. and MSC Lirica(Still he got into my good books later one when as we could not tender at Mykonos on the second week because of windy weather,and announced that we would proceed to PATMOS for a more secluded landing-which it was-really nice and was a compensation well thought out!)
