Just got back from 12 night cruise to Canary Islands. We had a great holiday with the exception of returning home very tired.

Do not under any circumstances book cabin R712. We didnt but were allocated this cabin. I was concerned initially of noise from the lift, but this was not the case. The noise came from above! We were directly below the Verona restaurant kitchens. From 11.00pm there was the constant rumble of trolleys above, climaxing at a ramp straight above us! This went on for at least two hours making sleep impossible and would religiously commence again at 4.00am waking you up thinking a bomb had been dropped. My husband was constantly on the phone to reception and although improvements happened it was short term until the next day! You had to be woken to phone up and nothing was proactive to stop us being woken!

The food was very good in both the Meridean and Verona restaurants. We used the buffet for breakfast and there was always plenty of choice, but finding a seat was sometimes difficult. We enjoyed dining in the Sindu but were not impressed with the food in The Glass House.

R712 Very noisy, but convenient for restaurants and pools. Got home needing sleep.
