Sail Date: Aug 2011
Cabin: Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Boarding was excellent, quick and efficient. As we boarded at 11.30 and cabins were not available until 2pm we decided to do a tour of the ship. Adventure is clean and well looked after, but is in desperate need of a refit. Some of the furniture and fixtures are tired, especially in the main restaurants.

Our two cabins on deck 7 were lovely, no complaints at all.

The main problems we experienced were due to the fact that everything on the ship is aimed at pleasing the Spanish guests. We knew, that sailing from Malaga would mean that the majority of guests would be Spanish, but we really felt like we were gatecrashing a summer fiesta! We ate on second sitting, and were never in the restaurant before 9.45pm. We were told that as Spanish people enjoy eating late, first sitting had been extended to allow guests to enter between 6.45 and 7.45! We received no food before 10pm. Food in the restaurant was average at best.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

E2 Balcony cabin on deck seven. No complaints. Compact certainly, but well designed. Very comfortable bed.
