Thomson Dream- Treasures of the Mediterranean 16-23 July- Cruise and Stay

Where to begin.....one of our best holidays ever!

From the outset I have to say that we had booked this 12 months in advance, to celebrate a year of special birthdays and anniversaries in our household, so when the whole Watchdog saga began and the ship had problems in the Caribbean last winter I was close to cancelling the whole thing only for the fact that no-one else could offer us what we wanted as a whole package apart from Thomson. Only through email and face to face assurances from Thomson that everything was ok did we reluctantly pay our final balance and then sat with our fingers crossed for the next 6 weeks until leaving day was upon us!

Cabin Review

Cabin SU

Grand Suite 1103, lovely big living area, very well air conditioned and very light, 2 big windows and door onto balcony. Suites either side of us have just 1 window and door. Lovely bathroom and walk-in wardrobe with loads of drawer and hanging space.

Negatives- When using shower the water would run down the side of the bath which wasn't flush to the wall so we had towels placed around the edge of the bath to stop the water dripping on the floor.

On the nights when the winds were high the wind whistled through the balcony door, didn't seem to be completed sealed.
