spectacular scenery and lovely towns to wander around and get lost in. booked a celebrity excursion which was worth it to get off the ship first. fantastic guide made the trip but trip was spoiled by appallingly rude shop staff in the main town and the debarcle that was the cable car back. An hour wait in very high temps with all the europeans pushing in. got quite scary at times so we made decision to walk back down which was an experience sharing 588 steps with out of control donkeys and tons of donkey poo!! Also beware the aggresive donkey handlers trying to man-handle your cable car tickets out of your hands 


Santorini

Didnt like Athens, enjoyed wandering around plaka and some quiet streets but locals very rude and aggresive. 


Athens (Piraeus)

fabulous, fabulous, fasbulous...cant say more than cant wait to go back for longer. 


Istanbul

got off and had a wander and did some more shopping but so so hot here went back on board quickly to enjoy a quiet ship. 


Kusadasi

again lovely place to wander around and a town beach that was fine to sit on and have a swim in the sea. again a place i would go back to. 


Mykonos

actually salerno and we didnt get off as we did pompeii and amalfi last year. 


Naples

original cabin 3130 very noisy underneath 2 nites from 04.00-07.30 so we had to be moved. could have ruined vacation.

met some lovely folk on board via cruise critic and enjoyed some good nights in the martini bar or at the deck parties.We ate at the buffet one night after coming back on board late from santorini and once in Muranos which was outstanding.
