We chose the 3 day cruise to the Bahama's on the Norwegian Sky for a last minute, much needed, getaway. We were most impressed with the outstanding customer service that we received in all areas of the ship, especially in the Palace Main Dining Room and the Italian Bistro. From curbside luggage drop off to parking to Check-in was totally a breeze. Staff were warm and friendly and we were on the boat in less than 25 minutes. We were greeted by dancing crew members and lively music when we entered the ship. Our room was standard,clean,no weird smells and we had upgraded the night before the cruise to an ocean view for an additional $5 per night, which was worth the $30 extra dollars. The biggest disappointment in our stateroom was a small portable size TV, everything else was fine. The room attendant did a fine job with keeping the room neat and clean and making sure we were well supplied with towels, ice etc.

The boat itself is smaller,older with signs of wear and tear, nothing fancy, but easy to get around. Very family friendly with lots of young couples, families with children and older married folks like us. Entertainment was pretty standard, the usual variety show and comedian. The food was good in the buffet areas as well as in the 2 main dining rooms. If you enjoy Indian food, this is the boat for you!!!I'm not sure how some people could possibly have negative comments about the staff on this ship, everyone was polite, well groomed and mannered and went above and beyond to see that our needs were met.

Overall this a good cruise for first time cruisers and families, no formal night, very casual and no worries if you are traveling with small children, as they are pretty standard on this ship. This is not a fancy boat, but fun with an all white dance party,basket ball court and enought space to not feel crowded, but small enough to not get too lost.............
