This was the first cruise for our family of three (17-yr teen boy). We were skeptical about the cruise - will there be sea sickness, will we get the food we like (not big meat eaters and son has allergies), will there be enough to do (not much for laying by the pool drinking all day)?

The Good - Great ship, calm seas, very attentive service, plenty of food, good interaction with ship officers, variety of entertainment and activities, interesting ports of call, and enough space to not feel crowded. We ate as a family on our own but made many new friends during excursions. People are relaxed and friendly. Our son made new friends and was busy with them most of the time. Cabins are comfortable for adults but the drop-down bed only OK for big boys and girls. Room service was prompt.

Not so Good - Common pool area was always loud and busy. Adults only pool area was a bit better. We ate at one speciality restaurant (Silk Harvest) but were disappointed with the Green Curry and Orange Chicken dishes we ordered. Did not bother to try others. Library has a very limited stock. Santorini was not worth the short visit. Limited choice of Indian food (if that is what you prefer). A couple of vegetable dishes, 3 meat dishes, rice and Roti but it was the same throughout. It may be possible to request a variety if arranged in advance of starting the cruise. You will not get a Chai on board but plenty of coffee. Even though 15% tip was included in everything, I felt obliged to tip more (there is a place on every bill for it). No, not everything is included (bottle water, alcohol, special coffee, juice, etc are all extra).
