let me prefice my comments by saying i am an experienced cruiser. i have been sailing with many cruise lines since 1977. so i am not a novice sailer. this was by far the worst cruise i have been on. in my review, i will certainly give the devil their due when it warrants but for the most part it was not good.
embarkation - here is the first place the devil get her due. we were dropped off and on the ship in about a half hours time. but upon arrival at our cabin and entering, the cabin (109) was very warm. we thought it was because we were still docked so we didn't make any complaint at the time. we spotted two brown looking bathrobes that i wouldn't put on my body if it was the last clothes i had. were told they were organic.
we proceeded up to the lido deck for lunch. another bad choice as the staff is up there spooning out food. small amounts to say the least. again the devil gets her due--the food that we received was hot. we then tried to book a dinner at the pinnacle but there were sold out. i guess it was a good thing we booked le cirque prior to sailing. we were lucky to also get a reservation at canallatto's. so i guess i would recommend booking any specialty eating prior to sailing.
109 across by crew space - door slamming day and night. cabin was hot. adequate storage space
