I'm back y'all! I can't even tell you how glad I am to be back on solid ground!

Ashley, Delilah, and I, along with some other friends, took the Royal Caribbean 5-night cruise from Baltimore to Bermuda aboard the Enchantment of the Seas ship. Overall, from start to finish, I have to say the best thing about the cruise (besides Ashley's wedding on board) was the customer service. OMG, for the first time in my life, I have nothing but praise for the staff and crew. They were always polite, helpful, and fun. The ship itself was clean and the rooms were comfortable. Delilah and I shared a large inside stateroom and it was fine. As you know, I was worried about the bathrooms but they were fine and we had more than enough room to move around. I don't know if I can go as far as saying that the bathrooms were fat-friendly but I did appreciate that the toilet was angled and allowed enough space to maneuver around. The shower was tiny but it was big enough to let you scrub what needed scrubbing! The rooms were small so I unpacked my suitcase on the first day and it gave us more space.

On to the food. Man, my friend Leilani wasn't lying when she said the food was endless on the cruise. OMG, the food was 24-7 but Leilani's tips for keeping it healthy on a cruise came in handy (check out her tips on getskinnywithit.com). Most of the food was just average but a few things stuck out like the Fish Tikka, the sugar-free Coconut Cake, the Scallop Risotto, and the Garlic Tiger Shrimp. Honestly, I ate more than I usually eat but I don't think I was horrible. I did order a million entrees every night but I either shared them or just tasted them. I also did a lot of sampling during the day but I made an effort to make smart choices and to balance the food out with making use of the jogging track and taking the stairs. In any case, I must have done something right because I'm down 3.5 lbs from my last weigh-in!!!
