IN March we had our 4th trip with Explorer out of Cape Liberty. It was as usual a very good trip. We celebrated our friends 50th wedding anniversary. The crew was undoubtedly the most friendly we have ever had and we made some of them our email friends as we love to hear from them as to where they have gone and were they are going.

Our Captain and his staff of engineers explained the inner workings of the ship and we were really impressed.

We took the Portifino restaurant tour and met head chef Patrick and his mother. The food preparation area was really interesting and the extra cost of $50. per person was well worth it as the complimentary autographed cookbook was a great souvenir.

Great closet space. Room was kept very tidy and clean. Great Steward. On going up the hallway though there was a strong odour of sewage at times. Wheelchairs and scooters sometimes blocked the passageways.
