I cruised on the Thomson Dream last summer and loved it so much I talked my friends into trying it for their first cruise.

Embarkation was busy but very swift. I pre-booked a cabin close to the front of the ship, it was very comfortable. Thank you to Hasma for all his hard work looking after it. As the holiday went on there was constant maintenance. One morning I was going to the pool and the carpet in the corridor had been removed. When I came back later a new one had been relayed. Lots of the restaurants and deck areas were painted over night. The majority of the ship is how I remember it from last year but it looks tidier. The club was the main area I noticed had been redesigned.

The ports we went to were very interesting. I especially enjoyed the trips in Naples, 'Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius.' Pompeii was amazing and our tour guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. If you do decide to take part in this trip the hike up the volcano is very hard work and it was very hot with no areas to find shade so be prepared with extra sun cream. I had been told not to bother going to Pisa but found the half day trip arranged by Thomson very enjoyable and well worth a try. Ajaccio in Corsica is very pretty and very convenient to go out by yourself to go shopping or to the beach. Montpellier was a very enjoyable trip, it was very relaxed but we saw a lot of the area we would have missed if we had visited alone.

Cabin Review

Cabin OU

Loads of storage, I could hear the TV in the next cabin, Hallway quiet even thoug there were staff passing through to use the exit at the end of the corridor.
