Princess really has embarkation and debarkation down to a refined process. No complaints. Flew in the day before, stayed at the Courtyard SeaTac (review on tripadvisor) and used Seattle Express which was $12 per person and right on time.

Food, entertainment, ship appearance - all usual Princess high standards. She was very stable - no movement at all. No weird sounds, everything worked like it should. Beds were much better than Ruby Princess. Comfy sheets, fluffy towels, and nice shampoo. Movies and TV choices great - flat screen LCD. Passengers were of all ages and ethnic backgrounds. A great mix. Casino was tight and selection of slots was more limited than on Ruby Princess. Two non-smoking nights.

The service however was, and this may sound harsh, horrible. Apathy abounds. It appears the crew is annoyed with passengers. If you have a soda sticker be prepared to be ignored. Snubbed is a better word. Even if you are a casino VIP - you will get ignored. Expect security staff to bark orders at you like you are a criminal (watch out for Grace in particular). Was told by cabin stewardess she was too busy for some things and we were reprimanded for other things. She kept the ice bucket in her possession more than it was in the cabin. She sure hated to part with it. Staff in the Horizon Court (buffet) would gather in huddles and talk in their own language. Had to get up and get their attention or shout until acknowledged. Read more
