Cabin: Mid-Ship Mini-Suite with Balcony

Everything worked smoothly from the embarkation right through the end. The process of getting on the ship was organized and moved quickly. The only disappointment was the size of the mini-suite. We were supposed to have 3 in our party but one backed out. It was a good thing because I can't imagine how 3 or 4 people could have possibly managed in that mini-suite. I found the mini-suite to be the same size as a regular balcony cabin on the Carnival Cruises I have taken. I certainly do not think they are worth the extra money. The food was good really good in all the restaurants we tried. There was one exception, The Blue Lagoon. We at there the last night of the cruise. The food was mediocre at best. It was also cold.

You had to go out really early in the morning to get a lounge chair by the pool, expecially if you wanted to stay in the shade. I felt like I was at an all-inclusive resort where that is a common practice. The floor of the pool deck was extremely slippery. Something really needs to be done to correct this. We say an older woman take a fall and hit the deck so hard that she could not move here legs for quite a while. It was scary to see.

Overall the cruise was wonderful and I would definitly do another NCL cruise in the future.
