It has been over 5 yrs since my first cruise so it was all kind of new again.
It being my son's first trip, I thought a quick 3 day to the Bahamas would be a good 'tryout'. It was a great success!
We live in S. Fla so leaving from Miami was convenient. We carried on our bags, which you should do, if possible! We took about 20 minutes from parking garage until we stepped foot on the Sky. We got on about 2:30 and our room was ready to go!

We were in 9252, starboard side balcony. Me being 6'6" and my son 6'4" it was tight but no real problems. Our steward was polite and our room was always taken care of. 2 towel animals, one on Sat, one on Sun. We didn't fully unpack. Not much room to do so. No biggy for a 3 dayer.
