For our 2011 family vacation, we decided to cruise on the Carnival Dream's Western Caribbean itinerary. We chose this ship primarily because of the 5 person Deluxe Oceanview Staterooms and because we've all pretty much been to all of the Eastern Caribbean ports in some form or another. In total there were 15 in our group. Five of us were in a deluxe oceanview room on deck 1 and the other 10 were in 3 rooms on deck 10.

Transportation:

Rather than use the carnival transfer (which is pricey) I booked a charter bus and luggage trailer via TravelLynx to take us from MCO to the port. After collecting all our luggage I called the dispatcher and our bus was in the ground transportation area by the time we got down there with our luggage. Our driver was a pro and had even cruised on the Dream so we had a lot to talk about. I highly recommend TravelLynx for large groups looking for an airport transfer.

Cabin Review

Good location. Roomy enough for 2 adults and 3 small children. Might be too cramped for those travelling with older/bigger kids.
