Having been on the Thompson Spirit before - when the ash cloud hit and after receiving outstanding service when the flight home we decided to go on the same ship again and can honestly say we were not disappointed. Thomson Spirit is not the newest or most modern of ships but what it lacks in this area it makes up for in service. The service in the Compass Rose was great with the staff being amongst the friendliest you can find. The food as always was served hot and the choice amazing in all of the eating places.

The shows performed by the cruise team were mainly good but the most outstanding was "Africa" which received a standing ovation, and the visiting comedian was so funny.

Drinks are reasonably priced with a good choice. Some of the trips were a little expensive but the ports that we visited made it really easy to book your own trips or just get on a bus or walk round the towns. All in all for the money that the cruise cost it was certainly value for money

Cabin Review

Cabin 34i

Not bad size, very clean and towels and linen spotless.Quiet area to the front of the ship. Shower cubicle a little small but always clean.
