We booked our trip over a year ago while on the Celebrity Summit and were upgraded to concierge class. We selected our cabin and visited where it would be located, right near the library about mid ship. Coming from CA, we went to Vancouver and Victoria last summer and did that portion of the trip in advance. We were glad we did so. We flew into Vancouver the night before and stayed in the Terminal Bay Club Hotel right at Canada Place only a few minutes walk (with our luggage) to the ship. This was a great hotel and we found it on the message board. We took the sky train from the airport which is located right across from baggage and within 30 minutes and only $8.75 per person, we arrived within a few blocks of our hotel. We had 2 big bags and a carry on and it was easy to manuever then to fight the traffic at rush hour in s slow taxicab. We made dinner reservations in advance at our favorite restaurant Carderos, (check it out online) a 5 minute taxi ride or 15 minute walk from the hotel and right on the waterfront. This is a real happening place, not stuffy, and has a large outdoor deck if the weather is nice.

Arrived early at the ship at 11:00 AM, we got right in and went direct to the excursion desk to book the last two seats on the "Deadliest Catch" (Bearing Sea Catch Tour), made dining reservations for the next night at the fancy Olympic Dining Room and ordered our 3 bottle wine package. We did this with our onboard credit. We did this immediately before the cabins were ready and we were glad we had it all organized. That is the only excursion we booked through the ship.

We had a great time on the cruise. Our cabin was perfect as what we expected as we had cruised with Celebrity before, and we had champagne and fresh fruit and flowers. We loved the balcony. We recommend a veranda if you want to sit out, get up early.open the door and take pictures and feel like you have more space.
