My husband and I cruised with another couple and met wonderful people on the Med cruise and enjoyed all the ports of call. Azamara has three sit down eating venues - and a buffet - two venues with a reservation and one main dining room that you just show up at during dining hours. We always asked to be seated with other passengers and met wonderful couples. We liked becoming friends with fellow passengers and chatting with them at other times on board or when we ran into them on excursions. The ship is just the right size for meeting people and the staff extra friendly, too.

One of our new friends invited us for drinks to celebrate a 50th birthday. The staff had set up a place for us in the library just for our gathering of 10. We also dined together as a group of ten on the second to last night! I think we had the captain's table but he was working hard getting the ship through some tight islands.

Overall we had a wonderful experience on the Azamara Journey and I would highly recommend it for couples. Most of the folks, we became friends with, were in their 40's and 50's. But all ages were aboard.
