This was our second Alaskan cruise. We did this same cruise last July and had such a great time we decided to do it again. Unfortunately, things did not go well.

Embarkation- We waited over an hour. It seemed less organized than last year.

Cabin- 6143 is a great Concierge cabin with a huge balcony. We saw many whales from the balcony. The only problem is the family above us had two 5yr old boys who were left alone in their cabin for many hours. These children spent a great deal of time jumping off the beds and running around a small cabin. The Celebrity staff finally took our complaints seriously when they found the boys alone in their cabin making a great deal of noise and jumping off the beds. The parents were very rude to the Celebrity staff who talked with them and politely asked them to control their children. We apparently were not the only ones to complain about the constant noise- others on their floor also complained about the boys running up and down the halls. We could not sleep late due to the noise and it kept us up at night. Even when we went to our room for an afternoon nap - the noise was there. People can be so disrespectful to others! There was also the safety concern about leaving two five year old alone in a cabin with a balcony! These parents have a lot to learn about parenting and being respectful of others. Read more
