Two days before our cruise we were offered an upgrade for a minimal amount of additional money. We grabbed at the offer to go from a mini-suite to a Courtyard Villa that sleeps 6 even though it was only my wife and I cruising.

The VIP boarding was wonderful and fast, though we have never had a boarding issue during any of our cruises. We were escorted directly to Cagney's for lunch then at our leisure, we went to our room and explored our new home for the week. We are early risers (4-5)to workout and enjoy every minute of our vacation. We were able to do our P90X in the patio area then walk on the measured path which is so nice to see the sun rise. Half way thru the walk we take a 10 minute break for juice and coffee. During the days at sea we attend the art auctions which are always fun and a great way to learn about the art world.

Roy the butler was especially helpful as was our room steward Gigi. They were always pleasant and ready for a delightful conversation about either us or their family and experiences serving aboard ships.We have never had a bad experience on any NCL ship with the exception of the Spirit and that was a maintenance issue (mold that smelled in the shower area) that was taken care of within two hours of our phone call.
