Just returned from a Baltic cruise on P&O's Azura departed from Southampton 4th June 2011, this cruise surpassed all our expectations.

After reading the horror stories for the traffic congestion through Southampton we expected to be delayed with traffic jams, especially with 5 large ships in dock at the same time. From leaving the M27 to unloading the car next to Azura was about 20 minutes. The system for parking the car was simple and straight forward we were directed to park with a row of cars, the parking attendants completed a row and then moved down to the next row, after each row had been booked in the row was directed to drive around to the Azura suitcase drop off point. As soon as the suitcases were removed from the car an attendant was on hand to collect the cases and the next time we saw the cases was outside our cabins.

The only hiccup while booking in was the computers going down and all booking in is suspended.

Cabin Review

Balcony Stateroom

Cabin JG

Cabin was well proportioned with plenty of room for 2 people, the balcony was used daily to just sit and watch the scenery go by,even if it was raining the balcony was sheltered and we could sit outside.

Hensley our steward kept the cabin spotless.

This cabin is located quite close to the front of the ship and whenever we were in the cabin it was quiet.
