OK, so I tried to book a Disney Cruise, but it was sold out for the entire summer. The character interactions were rushed (what, do these folks have somewhere else to be?) The Nickelodeon staff seemed to want to be in some other place and not really in tune with who their audience was. I know that I am 'spoiled' by living in Orlando and experiencing the Disney 'pixiedust', but the experience with this cruise was disappointing.

The food is next. Now, this being my first cruise, my only expectations were those from people who had cruised before. So I had expectations of high quality and quantity. They fit the bill on the quantity...at least at the Garden Cafe. Quality was adequate, but not what I expected. So I attempted the Freestyle Upgrade to the steakhouse billed as on par with NY or Chicago steakhouses. I was expecting something better than Longhorn's. It was good, but not terrific. The Teppanyaki was very good...maybe even excellent and provided my kids more entertainment than the Kids Club.

Speaking of the Kids Club. Another disappointment. I expected more than photocopied Squidwards to color. The kids didnt want to go to the Kids Club which was a total disappointment to me too. Oh, and the giant checkerboard...would it be possible to have the right number of checkers so you could actually play a game?

Very nice and spacious room. It provides a very nice and relaxing experience with a quiet balcony.
