My family of 5- Husband, 20 yr. daughter, 18 yr son, and 12 yr daughter just returned from a 7 night cruise to Florida and the Bahamas. The Pros:I liked the freestyle dining. Wearing whatever you wanted, going to dinner whenever you wanted.The cleanliness was fantastic! I would say this was the cleanest ship I've ever been on.The ports were just what we were looking for. Port Canaveral we did an excursion to the Magic Kingdom. Buses were ready to go as soon as we got off the ship at Noon.. and coming home we hopped right on another bus at 7:45.In the Bahamas, we did the Atlantis excursion. So much fun! we loved it....On the private island we did NOTHING, which is what we wanted to do. We had no problems finding the small chairs to put in the water and just enjoy!The entertainment at night was great! We were fortunate to have JP the magician, he is top notch!Blue Lagoon- I can't say what a life saver this place turned out to be for us. We were not thrilled with the food in the dining rooms (see below) and the buffet gets old really quick. The Blue Lagoon was 24/7- burgers, hot wings, chef salad, mozzarella sticks, soup and a few sandwich options.The guests! I have never been with such a classy bunch of folks! everyone was polite. It was such a pleasure meeting and chatting with others.The cons:The food in the main dining rooms stunk. Every meal had something strange in it. Who puts peppers in beef stroganoff? really?Not much to do during the sea days. I would have liked a ship tour, or something. Other than those 2 points, I would do this same cruise again! it was so great sailing out of NY and seeing the statue of Liberty.
