Background: Family of 3 (Parents and 22 year old daughter) traveling with extended family of 24 people total. 2nd cruise, first time to Alaska.

Bottom Line: Very enjoyable cruise, easy embarkment, easy disembarkment, good and plentiful food, decent but spotty service, very good entertainment, and excellent shore excursions.

Details: Printed out our boarding passes and luggage tags before leaving home. Stapled the luggage tags to the bags at the hotel and was good to go. Arrived at pier 91 at around 12:30, which is a 20 minute ride north of downtown. Dropped off the bags at the bag check in, near the front door of the terminal. Went upstairs through security, and got in a very short line to check in. Got our room cards, walked on the ship, had our security picture taken, which was correlated to our room cards, and went to our room. Very easy! I think we had our picture taken en route to the room. Our room was a triple with a balcony on Baja Deck (deck 11). Very clean.
