Sail Date: Jan 2005

Not much mentioned on this new ship yet so I hope this helps.

Just returned from sailing on the Valor Jan 9-16th. We were in a group of 32 with friends and family. (I'm 43 and my wife is 41 and from the intermountain west). Have cruised with RCI, NCL, Princess, Celebrity over the past 6 years.

My embarkation was later due to the rental car returns. Recommend getting there before 11:30 a.m. The buffet on deck 9 was great with various options from stir fry, hamburgers, pizza, Chinese, deli and the standard buffet lines. Lemonade, fruit punch are available all the time in the buffet area. Soft ice cream, pizza, hot chocolate, coffee are available as well. Breakfast buffet was the same every day but had 6 stations making great omelettes.
