I went on this cruise with my Mother. I am am 36 and she is 78. So, as you can imagine, spanning two age groups, we both have different tates and interests. We have now sailed four times with Celebrity (twice on The Century- the smalles/oldest ship, and twice on The Elcipse), and have always found Celebrity excellent in catering for both our needs. We were not disappointed on this cruise.

The ship is beautiful. Very clean. Layout is very good. Perhaps a little overwhelming when you first embark as it may feel quite big (especially copmpared to The Century) which accommodates only 1800 guests !. However, you get used to where everything is very quickly. And even if you do get lost, crew (and other guests) are lways milling around and can point you in the right direction!

Embarkation at Southampton was very easy and hassle-free. Being greeted with a glass of wine as we set foot on the ship is a nice touch, and immediately she feel welcome.
