This was our first cruise with HAL. Previously we have sailed with Carnival, Princess and Royal Caribbean.
Positives -- First and foremost we were not bombarded with offers, deals, etc. Virtually no hawking. If you wanted it you got it based on the many fliers and other info but not face to face contact. We much appreciated this after the nonstop hawking on Princess.
I loved the size of this ship. Very comfortable but doesn't lose the intimacy we value. Our stateroom was ideal for this cruise and we spent a great deal of time on the verandah. We booked early so we got a fair rate and good choice of rooms, dining, etc.
