Cabin: Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Embarkation: Slow and frustrating. It was badly organised, the staff seemed as confused as the passengers as to exactly what was happening. Nevertheless we did eventually get on board.

Room: clean and the steward service excellent. The television was more suited to the ark rather than a 'modern' cruise ship. No tea or coffee facilities or (unless you paid) the ability to press your clothing. The bedding was clean but the matresses had seen better days. All and all the cabin interior was no better than a low cost B&B.

Food: we never used the formal dining facilities, so we cannot comment. The buffet in the Windjammer was good...and pizza and chips and sandwiches were available when the Windjammer was closed. However, if you did not care for what was on offer 'tough'.
