NOT TO BE REPEATED

Review for the Western Mediterranean Cruise on Island Escape

Additional details

Sail Date: Jun 2011

This ship (Island Escape) is tired... very dated, stuck in the 70's..

It was a ferry in its previous life and I think it should have stayed that way. There was knockings every night whilst you tried to sleep.. if the weather was slightly windy or choppy then the boat rocked!! One evening sailing off it vibrated so much the ceiling started to fall down around the Bounty bar.. they must be used to it as the entertainer just held the ceiling up and continued with the quiz!!!!

Too many people on board at any one time for the size of facilities, struggled everyday with seats (never mind Sunbeds) on decks, tables in restaurants, on occassions having to leave as no room to sit and eat. If you like plastic plates, mugs, formica tables and chaos then this was the restaurant for you! Other restaurant is still self service - but not open enough hours is often closed for when trips arrive back on ship.
