This was my first cruise I have taken on my own. I was pleased that I was put on a table with two other solo ladies we all got on famously. The choas started at Marco Polo Airport Venice the luggage for 4 flights were on the same carousel so we had to wait for a long time. We arrived at the port in our coach we waited for over 1 hour (some people waited over 2 hours) to off load our luggage then had to go 100yards or more in the pouring rain to check in. This went smoothly thank goodness. My flight was at 7.30am i reached my cabin after 3.30pm. But no luggage.I still didnt have my luggage by dinner time so just went to the buffet. From then on things got better next day sun came out.The only port I was disappointed in was Bari nothing there. The ice was excellent must be difficult to skate on a moving ship.Enjoyed all the other shows as well.Food was good.Company was good.Staff was good.I did enjoy my cruise but the whole situation at the port and the airport spoiled it. I certainly will not be sailing out of Venice unless things improve.
