We drove to the Long Beach/LA Port from Anaheim. Only took us about 30 minutes to arrive at the port. We arrived at 11:00 am, and it was very confusing trying to park in the parking terminal. People we trying to leave and there was not much parking available. We shlepped our luggage down from the 3rd floor to the porters. Check in was a breeze, took us all of maybe 10 minutes, even with all the people. They then sent us to boarding station 7. DD and I went to the bathroom, and when we came out....we were already getting ready to board. Went thru the screening process, they scanned our bags, and took our pictures...they said nothing about all the power cords, chargers and such. Did not even comment on our Wine. Although, we noticed other people's waters being opened and checked for alcohol~EVERY SINGLE BOTTLE!We were then on board and eating on the Lido by noon! We were so excited and the ship is beautiful! We ate and people watched then walked down to see if our rooms were ready, and they were. Connecting OV Cabins on the Riviera Deck, Aft, 1416-1418. Cabins were beautiful. Luggage started arriving one at a time, and then panic (more on that in a more detailed review)We had two formal nights-Monday and Friday. We had early dining in the Gold Pearl Dining Room, aft, upstairs table 556, to the right as you enter. Food was decent..allot to choose from. Activities were fun, although for families there is a lag between after dinner and activities on some nights, with not a lot to do as a family. Kids really did not participate in the kids clubs....said they were boring.Debarkation was great! We did self-debarkation, and we were off the ship and in our car in less then 1/2 hr. We would definitely do this cruise again!

This was a great location for us! Window was large and could see so much! We had connecting cabins, kids in one, us in the other. Door was propped open, nice and roomy we thought. Luggage went under the beds. Plenty of closet and drawer space. Only time we heard noise was when we were porting.
