We've sailed many times on Mercury, so were very familiar with this ship's size and general layout. Century was refurbished in 2006 and they added some nice new features, but removed one of my favorites -- the thalassotherapy pool. The only pools are outside now, so unless you're a polar bear, forget about any pool time if you go to a cold climate.

This was a round trip from Vancouver, BC. Check in at Canada Place was very smooth. We are Captain's Club and were in a Concierge class room, so special boarding applied, which may have helped. I didn't hear anyone complain about the process, though. Celebrity usually does a good job getting people boarded.

We were on very early and made a beeline for the Maitre D' to change our dinner from late to early seating and to discuss my fairly difficult dietary restrictions -- gluten free/lactose free. We found him right away and had a nice chat, got everything we needed including early seating, and were on our way in no time at all. As it turned out, the Maitre D' had the same gluten restrictions as I have, so he understood my needs completely and throughout the trip he was checking in with me and making sure I was getting everything I needed. Very good service.

Cabin Review

Concierge Class

Cabin C1

Limited drawer space, nice little refrigerator. Good shower size & shower head. Almost exactly mid-ship with cabins above and below, so excellent location. Good sized balcony. On the deck plans it looks close to the elevators, but you don't hear any noise. The one noisy night is the last one because it's across from the door leading to the crew area where they're taking the bags. That door bangs closed a lot the last night. The noise will stop by midnight. Other than that, a very nice room.
