My husband and I came 2 days prior to boarding Ruby Princess. Had an excellent tour of Padova and Venice, so we thought it was a good start. The food in Padova were excellent but not in Venice, esp Pizza. The embarkation process of Ruby Princess was very organized. Overall, the crew were very good, courteous and helpful and the entire process was excellent. The entertainment were not all very good. The magic show was a little bit obsolete but the other performers were from good to excellent. The daily dancing lessons and exercises were commendable. Bingo added fun to the whole package.Food in all areas esp the buffet were excellent. The shore excursions were generally good except that one that we had a guide who was sick with cold (AnnaMaria). She was not as good as the other guides we had in other excursions maybe because she was sick. A sick guide should have not been allowed to work. Shore excursions that include shopping should allot more than 30 minutes for shopping esp in places like Florence. We stayed in Barcelona for 3 more days. Sorry that I lost some costume jewelries in my checked-in luggage. Can't believe that there are thieves even in Barcelona airport.
