This will be short and sweet!JEWEL OF THE SEAS is our favorite ship to cruise on! Right size (91,000 tons),beautiful decor, lots of windows, fantastic dining (especially if you've met some of the staff before like we have), and plenty of room to just meander about the ship. Love the Schooner Bar, and the Viking Crown Lounge up topside.Activities and shows are varied and most are quite entertaining and/or funny.Portofino's is absolutely terrific and the Windjammer, while crowded at times, still serves up excellent food.Range of port visits is good; we've travelled three different itineraries and we were not disappointed at all. I would strongly recommend eliminating smoking from the casino, or limiting it to small areas. Too many of us with respiratory problems can't enjoy the casino with some chain-smoker right next to you! My only down-side. All in all, folks, JEWEL is one of RCCL's best maintained, and most attractive ships in its fleet. Try it, you'll like it!!!

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Bathrooms could be a bit larger. Storage space was sufficient, and access to elevators and stairs was quite easy. Smoking is not allowed in cabins - thank you. Treat your cabin steward correctly and there is no limit to what he or she will do for you. Get to know them.
